During 2010, individual health care professionals – doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical therapists and others – around the Upper Peninsula volunteered to provide more than $860,370 in medical care services for uninsured adults enrolled in Access Coalition programs. These valuable contributions were part of more than $7.3 million in coordinated care and donated medications leveraged by the Coalitions to serve more than 4,000 U.P. residents in need of health care.

Coalition offices also utilize volunteers in other capacities to serve enrollees:
- Program Enrollment Counselors

- Special Skills Assistance (i.e., web site, grant-writing, fundraising skills, etc.)
